On September 20, 2026, Lyson Medical Technology participated in the Thyroid Ultrasound-Guided Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) Course at IRCAD Taiwan. The course focused on the principles, techniques, and clinical applications of ultrasound-guided RFA for thyroid and parathyroid lesions, combining expert instruction with hands-on procedural training.

During the course, Lyson provided its high-fidelity thyroid thermal ablation training platform for hands-on practice. Designed to reproduce key characteristics of thyroid tissue, the platform supports ultrasound-guided procedural training, including needle placement, targeting, and thermal ablation practice in a controlled simulation environment.

The hands-on sessions provided participants with an opportunity to practice procedural techniques using a realistic simulation model while applying ultrasound guidance. The platform also allowed Lyson to demonstrate how biomimetic materials can be incorporated into medical simulation for thermal ablation training.

Through participation in the course and discussions with medical professionals, Lyson gained further insights into the practical requirements of thyroid RFA training and the use of simulation models in clinical education. These interactions will provide valuable references for the continued development and refinement of Lyson’s thermal ablation training solutions.

Moving forward, Lyson will continue to develop high-fidelity biomimetic simulation models for minimally invasive procedures and work with clinical and academic partners to support realistic, hands-on medical training across different clinical applications.
