Co-exhibited with AUO Display Plus Corporation at Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan

At the 2024 Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan, Lyson Medical Technology showcased its minimally invasive surgical training systems and collaborated with AUO Display Plus Corporation, a subsidiary of AUO Group, on a joint exhibition. Lyson provided high-fidelity cardiac simulation models for a remote live demonstration of 3D robotic surgery technology.

Held from December 5 to 8, 2024, the exhibition presented the integration of medical simulation, 3D visualization, and robotic surgery technologies. The joint booth featured a simulated smart operating room, where AUO Display Plus demonstrated its 3D intelligent surgical imaging platform. Through a live remote connection with Japan, visitors could observe a robotic-assisted surgery demonstration using Lyson’s high-fidelity heart models.

Lyson’s cardiac simulation models were incorporated into the demonstration to support surgical targeting, instrument manipulation, and visual interpretation. The setup provided an opportunity to demonstrate how high-fidelity simulation models can be combined with advanced imaging technologies in surgical training and technology demonstrations.

The collaboration brought together Lyson’s expertise in biomimetic simulation models and AUO Display Plus’s 3D visualization technology, creating an integrated demonstration of potential applications in smart operating rooms and surgical training.

The exhibition also included expert talks and live and remote demonstrations covering topics such as:

  • AI-Assisted Medical Image Interpretation

  • Smart Operating Room Development

  • Clinical Applications of Sensor Technologies

These activities provided opportunities for professionals from the medical and technology sectors to exchange ideas on the application of digital technologies in healthcare.

Through continued collaboration with cross-disciplinary partners, Lyson will further explore the integration of high-fidelity simulation models with smart medical technologies, supporting more realistic connections between simulation-based training and clinical practice.
