Winner of the First Prize in the “From IP to IPO” (FITI) Program Competition

Lyson Medical Technology received the First Prize – Acer Legacy Award in the From IP to IPO (FITI) Program Competition, organized by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). The recognition marks an important milestone in LYSON’s continued development of medical technology and innovation.

During the six-month FITI program, Lyson took part in an intensive entrepreneurial process covering business development courses, product validation, and investor pitch activities. The program provided practical experience in business model development, resource integration, and market strategy, while helping the team further develop its capabilities in technology commercialization and startup development.

Biomimetic Materials for Realistic Medical Training

A key part of Lyson’s technology is its proprietary biomimetic material designed to reproduce protein-like properties, allowing the development of high-fidelity simulation models that closely replicate the texture and characteristics of human tissue. These simulation models are designed for minimally invasive surgical training, providing medical professionals with realistic environments for hands-on procedural practice. By reproducing key characteristics of human tissue, the models support repeated practice and the development of procedural skills in a controlled training environment.

An Important Milestone for Continued Development

Receiving the Acer Legacy Award recognizes Lyson’s progress in medical technology development and provides further encouragement for the team’s continued work in medical simulation.

Moving forward, Lyson will continue to develop realistic simulation technologies and expand their applications in medical training. By working closely with medical professionals and clinical partners, Lyson aims to further improve the realism and practicality of surgical training environments.

“Making every surgical training session as close to reality as possible.”
