At the 2024 Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE EXPO), Lyson Medical Technology received the Future Technology Award, jointly organized by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), Academia Sinica, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Health and Welfare. Lyson was selected as one of 82 nationally recognized technologies, highlighting the potential of its medical simulation technology.

Translating Key Innovation into Practical Medical Training

The Future Technology Award recognizes technologies with scientific innovation and potential for industrial application. Among numerous academic R&D achievements from across Taiwan, Lyson’s protein-mimicking material was recognized for its ability to reproduce the tactile characteristics of human tissue and address limitations of conventional medical training tools.

Designed for medical simulation, the material enables the development of high-fidelity models for hands-on procedural training. During the expo, Lyson’s technology also received positive feedback from judges and industry visitors regarding its technical innovation and potential applications in medical training.

Receiving the Future Technology Award marks an important milestone in Lyson’s development from academic research toward industrial application. The recognition reflects the potential of Lyson’s core technology and supports our continued development of realistic, high-fidelity medical simulation solutions.
