High-Fidelity Simulation Models Support Nerve Block Training and Expand Pain Intervention Applications
Lyson Medical Technology collaborated with the Emergency Department of Chi Mei Medical Center on an in-hospital nerve block training session. For this training, Lyson provided high-fidelity simulation models equipped with hydrodissection functionality, allowing clinicians to practice ultrasound-guided procedures in a realistic and controlled environment.
During the training, multiple clinicians performed ultrasound-guided injections and tissue plane separation using the simulation models. Participants noted the realistic performance of the models, particularly in terms of layered anatomical structures, ultrasound image quality, and tactile feedback during hydrodissection. The training also demonstrated the potential to extend Lyson’s simulation technology to applications in clinical pain intervention.
Through hands-on practice and discussions with the emergency medicine team, LYSON gathered valuable feedback on the simulation models and training experience. These insights will support further product refinement and future development. The collaboration also provided an opportunity to better understand the clinical requirements of nerve block procedures and related pain intervention training.
Moving forward, Lyson will continue to develop innovative biomimetic materials and immersive medical training solutions for different clinical applications, supporting realistic and clinically relevant procedural training across multiple medical disciplines.
