Lyson Promotes Breast RFA Training Platform to Enhance Clinical Education in Minimally Invasive Techniques
Lyson Medical Technology recently introduced its Breast Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) Training Platform during a hands-on clinical workshop on minimally invasive breast tumor ablation. The platform was incorporated into a specialized training program focused on clinical education and procedural skills development for healthcare professionals.
Led by Dr. Chun-Ping Chou, Director of Radiology at Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, the workshop brought together physicians and trainees from across Taiwan, including professionals in radiology, breast surgery, and interventional oncology. The program covered the clinical application of breast tumor ablation techniques, including RFA and cryoablation, together with simulation-based training to provide participants with hands-on experience in procedural techniques.
Key Features of the Lyson Breast RFA Training Platform:
-
Realistic Breast Tissue Design: Designed to simulate needle insertion and high-frequency energy delivery for hands-on procedural practice.
-
High-Fidelity Tactile Simulation: Replicates needle resistance and ultrasound-guided targeting to provide a realistic procedural experience.
-
Integrated Training Flow: Supports instructor-led demonstrations and hands-on practice within a structured training environment.
During the workshop, participants used the Lyson Breast RFA Training Platform to practice key steps of the procedure under ultrasound guidance. The hands-on sessions also provided LYSON with valuable feedback on the platform’s design and its application in clinical training.
Through continued collaboration with healthcare professionals, Lyson will further develop biomimetic simulation solutions for minimally invasive procedures, with a focus on supporting realistic, hands-on training across different clinical applications.
