2025.06.29
Attended the Workshop hosted by the Taiwan Head and Neck Society (THNS)
On June 29, 2025, Lyson Medical Technology participated in the 2025 Taiwan Head and Neck Oncology Annual Meeting, held at National Cheng Kung University Hospital (NCKUH). During the event’s “Basic and Advanced Ultrasound-Guided Procedures Workshop”, Lyson provided its high-fidelity ultrasound-guided thermal ablation training platform, supporting physicians and participants with realistic hands-on simulation. The platform received highly positive feedback on-site.
The training focused on thermal ablation techniques for head and neck tumors, combining expert-led lectures with step-by-step procedural guidance. Experienced clinicians guided participants through ultrasound-guided needle targeting and energy delivery techniques, emphasizing practical skill development.
Lyson’s training platform effectively simulated real clinical conditions, enabling participants to fully grasp the workflow and operational precision of the Moving Shot Technique.
“The tactile feedback is incredibly close to real procedures.”
“It’s amazing to have such a complete platform the very first time I practice this technique.”
“The bubble effect during ablation feels so real!”
These comments from participating physicians highlight the value of high-fidelity simulation in modern medical education.
Key Training Features:
-
Simulation of ultrasound-guided needle placement
-
Step-by-step practice of thermal ablation techniques
-
Planning and comparison of moving puncture paths and ablation outcomes
-
Realistic tissue response including puncture resistance, bubble formation, and carbonization under heat
