Recipient of the 21st National Innovation Award – Academia-Industry Innovation Award
Lyson Medical Technology is proud to have been awarded the Academia-Industry Innovation Award at the 21st National Innovation Awards in 2024, one of Taiwan’s most prestigious honors in the biomedical and healthcare innovation sector. This recognition reflects not only our technical achievements but also our ongoing commitment to turning bold ideas into impactful solutions.
Addressing Training Gaps with Realistic, Biomimetic Simulation Models
At Lyson, we focus on solving long-standing challenges in minimally invasive surgical training through the development of high-fidelity prosthetic models. Our core innovation lies in a proprietary protein-mimicking material, engineered in-house to realistically replicate the tactile and mechanical behavior of human tissue. These models offer a lifelike preclinical training experience, enabling healthcare professionals to practice with higher accuracy and reduced risk.
By providing a realistic, responsive training environment, our solutions directly address critical pain points such as limited training resources and high clinical risk, helping to build a safer, more efficient medical education ecosystem.
Innovation Beyond R&D—A Commitment to Clinical Impact
Winning the National Innovation Award represents a powerful affirmation of Lyson’s mission to bridge academic research with industrial application through scalable, real-world solutions. We believe innovation only holds true value when it translates into clinical practice and medical education, solving real problems in real environments.
Moving forward, Lyson will continue to pursue our mission:
“To make every medical training experience as close to clinical reality as possible.”
We are dedicated to collaborating with academic institutions, teaching hospitals, and industry partners to create smarter, safer, and more effective training platforms—driving medical innovation onto the global stage.
